Who Appoints the conveyancing attorneys?

The seller appoints a conveyancing attorney unless the seller has no specific preference; in which case, an estate agent may introduce a conveyancing attorney.

Why do you need to transfer property into my name?

To prove ownership of property; as well as to protect ownership rights in regards to that property in South Africa is by obtaining a registered title deed. Property only becomes the owner's property once it has been registered into their name at the Deeds office.

A vehicle Accident claim is a claim against the Road Accident Fund, which was established to pay compensation to you if you suffer injuries and losses as a result of negligent driving of a motor vehicle. We assist our clients to claim smoothly without worrying about obtaining and documentation because we do all the work diligently and openly.

When can you claim Road Accident Fund?

A road accident claim must be lodged within 3 years of the accident. If you are a minor, the claim prescribes three years after you have turned 18 years. If an accident is caused by an unidentified vehicle, then the claim must be lodged within two years whether you are a minor or not.

What can you claim?

Your compensation for road accident fund claims will depend on the injuries you suffer although there are limitations which we are happy to advise you on.

Administration of a deceased estate is a complex process which involves validating of all documentation, beneficiaries, creditors, etc.

When someone is appointed as an executor of the deceased estate, the duties outlined by the Administration of Estates Act need to be adhered to:

Theses duties include:

• Determining outstanding debts owed to creditors and settling them as soon as possible. • To determine what the assets of the deceased are, and these include furniture, stocks, cash, etc.
• To determine what amounts are to be paid out to the beneficiaries as stipulated
in the will.
• To report to the Master until beneficiaries are paid.
